Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2009

These are my personal pick out of the blog sites posted at Influential Blogger. My criteria in coming up with this selection, in descending order of weight, are (1) visual impact, (2) content abundance, and (3) content significance. I know there are other criteria equally important such as prose, grammar, entertainment value, etc., but I did not consider these as that old tyrant, TIME, was hard on my heels. So those of you not mentioned in this list, don't feel too bad. This list is at best a rough approximation of what's best out there.

Beast of Revelation

The vision of Paul when he was at Patmos Is. tells extensively of end time events. Revelation 13 in particular, tells of a second beast with "two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon."

He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. Rev. 13:16-17 (NIV)

Interestingly, many Bible scholars today are saying the second beast is the United States of America! I am 100% in agreement. Here's a video link to an end time Bible scholar who says so [click on the image]. Watch and judge for yourself.

Signs of the End

These are the signs of the end mentioned in the Bible. Are we in the time of the end?

Wars
"And ye shall hear of wars & rumors of wars...For nation shall rise against nation, & kingdom against kingdom:" (Matthew 24:7)
Famine
"For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines..." (Matthew 24:7)
Plague & Disease
...and there shall be famines, and pestilences...." (Matthew 24:7)
Earthquakes
...and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in various places..." (Matthew 24:7)
Traffic Accidents
"The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall jostle one against another in the broad ways: they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings!" (Nahum 2:3,4)
Rapid Transport
